We are engaged in supplying Electro Magnetic Brakes, which consists of brake assemblies, such as brake arm, brake shoe, base frame, actuating lever, brake spring and an electromagnetic thruster. Basically, the brake shoe is mounted on the brake arm and the gap between the brake drum & brake pad is adjusted by spring mechanism. This spring is suitable to give the required braking force and is mounted inside the thruster. As all the components are mounted on to the base frame, the brake is a fail safe type. When the power supply is on, an electromagnetic force is developed in the coil, which helps to pull the plunger against the spring force. When this plunger is pulled, the spring is compressed and the brake arms move away from the drum, thus, releasing the brake.
